Along with apple picking and pressing at the state’s orchards and razor clam digs on the coast, another autumn activity is resuming in Washington as the days grow shorter and colorful leaves begin to fall: pumpkin patches.
With many of the region’s U-pick pumpkin patches opening for their fall season next week, its time to get out your flannels, sharpen your pumpkin carving tools and head out for a weekend adventure.
