VOLTAGE, Wash. — Four people are dead and over a half-dozen others were injured after a crash involving a bus Sunday afternoon near Wenatchee.
Around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, a car going westbound on Highway 28 attempted to pass in the eastbound lane and struck an oncoming bus, according to a Washington State Patrol (WSP) memo. The bus ended up in a ditch just off the roadway near Rock Island Dam Road. The car also struck the vehicle it was trying to pass after hitting the bus.
