3 Seattle beaches closed due to high levels of bacteria

According to the Seattle Parks Department, Madrona Beach, Matthews Beach and Madison Beach on Lake Washington were closed due to recommendations from Public Health – Seattle & King County. A warning advisory was also issued for Golden Gardens Beach.

Other beach closures include Renton’s Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park and Waverly Park Beach Park in Kirkland.

Seattle Parks said people and pets should stay out of the water at the closed beaches.
