25 tiny homes at Seattle shelter damaged in fire

Twenty-eight people have been displaced. The Red Cross is helping them find shelter.

SEATTLE — Dozens of tiny homes serving as shelter in Seattle were damaged in an early morning fire on Thursday. 

The Seattle Fire Department posted that the fire had been extinguished just before 3 a.m., however at least 28 people have been displaced. Before they lived in the tiny home village they were experiencing homelessness. 

Twenty-five tiny home shelters were lost in the fire. Residents told KING 5 the flames moved quickly through the village. A larger structure that was also serving as a shelter was damaged as well, though
