2 Seattle gas stations targeted by suspects armed with a hammer

Seattle police say it is “very likely” that the suspects committed both of the early morning robberies in West Seattle and Queen Anne.

SEATTLE — Investigators believe two early morning robberies in Seattle could be connected after a group of masked suspects targeted separate gas stations while armed with a hammer. 

The first robbery occurred at the Shell station in the 4500 block of Fauntleroy Way Southwest in West Seattle around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15.

The second crime took place about 30 minutes later at another Shell station in the 700 block of Taylor Avenue North in Lower Queen Anne.
