2 people, dog killed in single-vehicle crash in Port Orchard

The sheriff’s office said the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and it struck multiple trees before bursting into flames.

PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — Two people and a dog were killed after a car crashed into multiple trees and burst into flames Saturday night in Port Orchard, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said deputies first responded to the scene in 5000 block of SE Burley Olalla Road between Shady Glen and Fagerud Road at 8:30 p.m. for a report of a vehicle on fire.
