There is no timetable for reopening the one-block stretch of 145th Street.
SHORELINE, Wash. — A portion of North 145th Street in Shoreline will remain closed through early 2025 as construction takes longer than expected.
The one-block stretch of 145th Street between First Avenue Northeast and Fourth Avenue Northeast has been closed since April as crews work to widen the roadway as part of a traffic improvement project. The roadway, which provides direct access to Interstate 5, was expected to reopen in November.
“Oh, it’s been awful,” said nearby resident Anna Phillips. “It just makes everybody grouchy, is what it does!”
