LYNNWOOD, Wash. — An 11-year-old was booked into a juvenile detention center Sunday after he allegedly tried to stab another student at a Lynnwood middle school.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) said deputies were called around 1:30 p.m. Friday to investigate an assault with a weapon at Alderwood Middle School. Deputies said the youth, a former student at the middle school, showed up on the campus and tried to stab another student. A teacher witnessed the assault and intervened, preventing the student from being injured, according to the SCSO.
