1 person dies in fire at Everett apartment complex

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

EVERETT, Wash. — One person was killed when an Everett apartment building caught fire Tuesday night.

According to an Everett Fire Department spokesperson, the fire broke out at the fourplex on Grand Avenue and 24th Street just after 9:30 p.m.

One unit is affected and no other residents are displaced.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Inspectors will start their investigation in the morning, according to EFD.
