SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after one person was shot and killed outside Lumen Field early Sunday morning.
The Seattle Police Department said officers responded to the 1000 block of Occidental Avenue South at about 3:45 a.m. for a reported shooting.
Responding officers reportedly found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Seattle police said a handgun was found at the scene.
Seattle police said the homicide investigation is ongoing and did not give any information on a possible suspect.
