One man is dead after a shooting in the U District. In a separate shooting that also took place Monday night, two people were injured at Genesee Park in Seattle.
SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating two separate shootings that both took place Monday night.
The Seattle Fire Department responded to the U District neighborhood where a man was found shot dead at Northeast 42nd Street near the Interstate 5 on-ramp.
SFD said first responders attempted to save the man’s life, but they were not successful. The Seattle Police Department is investigating.
No suspects have been identified.
