Taylor Swift finished the MTV Video Music Awards with a record-breaking number of wins — 30 moon men — on Tuesday night. Swift upped her personal collection, surpassing the previous record of 26 wins as a solo act set by Beyoncé. As a part of Destiny’s Child, and with Jay-Z as the Carters, Beyoncé has 30 wins, placing her at a tie with Swift’s recent haul. Swift also becomes the first artist to win the Video of the Year award five times.
