Prime Video is revving up its Indian originals slate with “Dupahiya,” a heartland comedy series that blends small-town charm with a quirky caper.
The nine-episode series, which marks the debut production from Bombay Film Cartel banner, follows the mayhem that erupts in the fictional village of Dhadakpur when a prized motorcycle goes missing just as the community is about to celebrate 25 years of being crime-free. The show’s title “Dupahiya” translates to “two-wheeler” in Hindi.
Helmed by Sonam Nair, the series features veteran actors Gajraj Rao (“Badhaai Ho”) and Renuka Shahane (“Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!”) alongside
