Founders and famously sparring siblings Liam and Noel Gallagher seemed to confirm that the group is getting back together after the pair both posted a cryptic clip showcasing the date, Aug. 27, 2024, along with the time, 8 a.m., on their respective X/Twitter accounts on Sunday. The official Oasis website also has “27.08.24” displayed on its main page.
Sure, such posts are used as teasers for album reissues or archival videos. But the timing here, which follows a series of gradually escalating rumors, appears to be no coincidence: After reports circulated over the weekend about Oasis performing in the U.K.
