Netflix is making an animated Minecraft show

Fifteen years after the game first launched, Minecraft is getting a new animated series on Netflix. The streamer announced that it’s making a show that will “feature an original story with new characters, showing the world of Minecraft in a new light.” No other details were announced, but the production is being helmed by WildBrain Studios, which previously made adaptations like Sonic Prime and Ninjago.
