Ncuti Gatwa, Edward Bluemel to Face Off as Literary Titans in Royal Shakespeare Company’s ‘Born With Teeth’

“Doctor Who” star Ncuti Gatwa and “Killing Eve” actor Edward Bluemel will bring to life a face-off between two of history’s greatest playwrights in “Born With Teeth,” set for a limited London West End run this summer.

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), Playful Productions and Elizabeth Williams are joining forces to present Liz Duffy Adams’ play at Wyndham’s Theatre for an 11-week season starting Aug. 13 and running through Nov. 1.

RSC co-artistic director Daniel Evans will helm the production, which imagines the creative rivalry and relationship between William Shakespeare (Bluemel) and Christopher Marlowe (Gatwa) in 1591 England. The production marks Evans’ directorial debut for the RSC following
