Michelle Pfeiffer is set to star in the upcoming Apple TV+ adaptation of the Rufi Thorpe novel “Margo’s Got Money Troubles,” Variety has learned.
The eight-episode show was ordered to series at Apple back in February after a multi-platform bidding war. Pfeiffer will appear alongside previously announced cast members Elle Fanning and Nicole Kidman.
Per the description of the novel’s plot, it focuses on Margo Millet (Fanning), the daughter of a Hooters waitress (Pfeiffer) and an ex-pro wrestler. Now an unemployed single mother in her early 20s, Margo is struggling to make ends meet,
