Mercury Records has upped Tyler Arnold to chairman and CEO and Ben Adelson to president and COO, the label announced Wednesday. The executives previously held the titles of president and general manager, respectively, when they first re-launched Mercury Records in 2022.
Arnold and Adelson will report to Monte Lipman, Republic Collective founder, and Founder, Vice-Chairman and COO Avery Lipman. The newly-promoted executives helped secure deals at Mercury for such artists as AJR, Chelsea Cutler, James Bay, Jeremy Zucker, Lord Huron, Stephen Sanchez, Zayn and more.
