Logan Paul admitted to “spreading misinformation” on social media after wrongly calling Algerian Olympic boxer Imane Khelif a man in a since-deleted X/Twitter post.
After Khelif’s win in a match against Italian boxer Angela Carini at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Thursday, Paul posted on X: “This is the purest form of evil unfolding right before our eyes. A man was allowed to beat up a woman on a global stage, crushing her life’s dream while fighting for her deceased father. This delusion must end.”
Khelif is a woman who is not transgender nor identifies as intersex, according to GLAAD and InterACT. She was assigned female at birth,
