On the Jan. 13 episode of “The Daily Show,” Jon Stewart tackled the devastating L.A. forest fires and the Republican lawmakers who want “strings attached” to incoming relief funds.
Stewart opened the show on a positive note, celebrating the “incredible moments of human compassion and kindness” that have arisen from the L.A. fires despite the “tragedy and sadness” that has plagued the City of Stars since Jan. 7 when the Pacific Palisades fire first erupted.
