“The Golden Bachelor” is officially coming back for a second season at ABC and Hulu. 66 year old Mel Owens, a former NFL player turned lawyer, will be the titular Golden Bachelor in the new season.
Owens succeeds Gerry Turner as the Golden Bachelor. Turner led the inaugural season of the series, which aired in 2023. Per ABC, the inaugural season averaged 10.4 million viewers in Live+35 multi-platform viewing.
