Fox is taking the Super Bowl to a new frontier — or, at least to one that is new for Fox.
Fox Sports will stream its February 9 telecast of Super Bowl LIX on its sister broadband outlet Tubi, a change from the recent past when the company made a stream available via Fox Sports digital outlets. The move will no doubt spotlight Tubi, a free, ad-supported streaming hub that has gained traction even as many of Fox’s rivals rely more heavily on subscription based broadband outlets. Tubi’s stream will be available in 4K.
