BET+‘s critically acclaimed series “Diarra From Detroit,” produced by BET Studios, is returning for a Season 2. The dramatic comedy will return with creator, executive producer, writer and star Diarra Kilpatrick, as well. as series regulars Bryan Terrell Clark, DomiNque Perry and Jon Chaffin.
The renewal comes after the show’s linear run on BET in early 2025, in which it became the No. 1 new series on cable among Black viewers year-to-date according to the company. The show led demos including Black adults 18-49, 25-54 and total Black viewers 2+.
