David Tennant and Meera Syal have joined the roster of guest artists for Tim Crouch’s groundbreaking play “An Oak Tree,” which celebrates its 20th anniversary at London’s Young Vic this spring.
The unique theatrical experiment, which pioneered the concept of the “cold-read,” features a different guest performer in every show who has neither seen nor read the play before stepping on stage. The production, presented by Olivier Award-winning Francesca Moody Productions (behind global hits “Fleabag” and “Baby Reindeer”) in association with the Young Vic, marks two decades since the play’s debut.
