Project Angel Food has raised more than $500,000 since launching its Fire Relief Fund three days ago.
The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation contributed a $250,000 grant to the Los Angeles-based meal delivery service for critically ill residents. The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation is making $150,000 of its donation a “Match Grant” to encourage the public to donate to Project Angel Food’s vital work.
The foundation’s support comes after its $10 million donation last year for the construction of Project Angel Food’s new $51 million Hollywood campus.
