Bill Sammon, a veteran of Washington D.C. media outlets and a former longtime senior editorial executive at Fox News Channel, has been named a senior vice president at Nexstar Media, where he will oversee news coverage of the nation’s capital for both The Hill and NewsNation, two of the company’s media properties.
Sammon, who left Fox News in 2021 after the outlet came under scrutiny for making an early call for President Joe Biden’s victory in Arizona in the 2020 presidential election, was recently tapped to help out with NewsNation’s coverage of the 2024 race.
