Anchor Bay Entertainment has acquired worldwide rights to the horror film “Cursed in Baja,” which will see its world premiere Aug. 23 at FrightFest Film Festival in London.
The film follows Pirelli, an ex-lawman who travels to Mexico to search for the heir to a Los Angeles fortune, while also confronting his own complicated past.
Barbara Crampton (“You’re Next) and Jose Conejo Martin (“The Tax Collector”) star in the film alongside Jeff Daniel Phillips. Phillips also directed, produced and penned the screenplay for the film. Phillips is known for his collaborations with horror filmmaker
