The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the compensation borrowers will receive out of the $9.3 billion settlement with mortgage companies over their foreclosure and servicing practices will range from “hundreds of dollars up to $125,000.” The agreement with the federal government by banks including Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) and PNC (NYSE:PNC) settles allegations of foreclosure abuses in 2009 and 2010 covering as many as 3.8 million borrowers whose houses had been in foreclosure.
