Tri-Staters apparently had more money to put in the bank this past year, if the Business Courier’s Largest Tri-State Banks and Bank Holding Companies list is any indication. Of the 25 banks on the list, 17 increased their local deposits from June 30, 2011 to June 30, 2012, according to the annual report from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., and all but three had higher total deposits.
