Former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was arrested on suspicion of burglary domestic violence Wednesday morning.
He was booked into the King County Correctional Facility in Seattle at 6:08 a.m., according to the county’s jail log. No bail has been set, the log said. The incident is being investigated as a felony.
Sherman was arrested in Redmond after trying to force his way into the home of a family member around 2 a.m., according to police. Redmond police spokesperson James Perry said Sherman fought with officers during questioning and a police K9 was used to subdue him after he resisted arrest. Both Sherman and responding officers had minor injuries.
