“Shōgun,” “Hacks,” “Baby Reindeer,” “Ripley” and “We Are Lady Parts” are among this year’s additional nominees as the Peabody Awards’ board of jurors revealed 23 nods for its arts, children’s/youth, entertainment, and interactive & immersive categories. They join the 45 nominees across its documentary, news, public service and radio/podcast categories annnounced earlier this week.
According to Peabody, the total of 68 nominees were culled from a list of 1,000 entries in all categories; the final nods were chosen by a unanimous vote of 27 jurors. Of the 68 total nominations, Netflix received the most, with 9, followed by HBO / Max (8) and PBS (7).
