Jon Hamm‘s monologue on “Saturday Night Live” was a self-deprecating bit about the slew of cameos he has had on the show through the years, and was interrupted by his frenemy Kieran Culkin.
“I know a cameo may seem inconsequential, but it really is an important part of the show,” Hamm said. “Like when a sketch needs that little something extra to take it from a medium sketch to a marginally better than a medium sketch, or when a monologue is feeling aimless and it needs a jolt of energy.”
