Things have turned very, very bad in Memphis. It wasn’t long ago that the Grizzlies were riding high with a 38-16 record entering the All-Star break, and seemed to have all the trappings of a team that could contend in the West. Since then they’re gone 6-15, fired head coach Taylor Jenkins, and are coming under fire for potentially playing Ja Morant while injured.
Jaren Jackson Jr. is keeping it positive though. He’s just happy he’s got a roof over his head.
“We’ve had wins. We’ve had losses. Ain’t no reason to feel, like, crazy. Like, it could always be worse — you could be homeless.”
