OLYMPIA, Wash. — Gov. Bob Ferguson signed a letter Tuesday rescinding the release of a convicted killer, originally sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
Timothy Pauley and Scott Smith were convicted of the 1980 killings of Loran Dowell, Linda Burford, and Robert Pierre. The men were sentenced to three life sentences, without any chance for parole.
Pauley was scheduled to be released Thursday from the Monroe Correctional Complex.
