The state has seen a steady decline in car thefts since 2022, when there were over 8,000 through the first two months.
KING COUNTY, Wash. — Car thefts in Washington state so far in 2025 are at their lowest point in 15 years.
The Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force (PSATTF) shared car theft data from February 2025, and showed a graph with year-to-date figures on the crime in each year since 2010.
