People reported feeling the earthquake as far as south Pierce County, north of Seattle and around Port Orchard.
VASHON ISLAND, Wash. — An earthquake struck Vashon Island late Monday night, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN).
The tremors spread across a wide area, with people in Tacoma, Renton, Seattle, Shoreline, Bethel and Elk Park reporting they felt the shakes.
