The suspects were trying to recover stolen property when they got into an altercation, which ended in the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old Covington man.
COVINGTON, Wash. — Two men are charged with second-degree murder in the death of a Covington man.
The suspects, identified as 21-year-old Samuel Strauss and 21-year-old Ja-Kevion Stancil, went to a Covington apartment complex near the end of October 2024 to recover property Stancil’s girlfriend had stolen from him.
