The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting.
SEATTLE — A person was shot late Monday night in White Center.
King County deputies responded just before midnight to the 10000 block of First Avenue South after a reported shooting. One victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center. Their condition is unknown.
There are no suspects at this time, deputies said.
“I heard the shots were coming from First Avenue South, which is one block from our house,” said Salimah Osman, a White Center resident. “It was really loud to the point it woke me up.”
