People who knew the victim said he purchased a dog from the suspect and the suspect wanted the dog back.
SEATTLE — A disagreement over the purchase of a French bulldog led to a man hitting and killing another man in Seattle, before driving off from the scene.
Patrick Fashaun Williams, 35, is charged with felony hit-and-run in connection to the Feb. 28 incident. He was charged by the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on March 5 and remains in jail on $2 million bail.
King County Medical examiners identified the victim as 31-year-old Amani James Wheaton. He died from multiple blunt force injuries
