The Cessna 150 was found crashed near a Kittitas County mountain on Wednesday morning.
ELLENSBURG, Wash. — A pilot has been found dead after her plane was found crashed in Kittitas County on Wednesday morning.
The woman was reported missing after she failed to arrive at Lake Chelan Airport on Tuesday evening. She had departed from Yakima earlier that afternoon.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) learned of the missing red, white and blue Cessna 150 Tuesday night and a search and rescue operation began immediately.
