Another Carl Hiaasen novel is being developed as a TV series with Bill Lawrence onboard.
Variety has learned exclusively that a series version of Hiaasen’s novel “Skinny Dip” is currently in development at Max with Adam Horowitz & Edward Kitsis set to write and Lawrence attached as an executive producer.
The logline for the one-hour dramedy series describes it as “a screwball-romantic-comedy-triangle about murder, revenge, and greed in the Everglades.”
Lawrence, a longtime fan of Hiaasen, is currently the creator and showrunner on the series adaptation of “Bad Monkey” at Apple TV+. That
