The pedestrian walked out into a lane of travel, was hit by a vehicle and then a semi truck, according to the Washington State Patrol.
SNOHOMISH, Wash. — A pedestrian was struck and killed on US 2 in Snohomish early Tuesday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
All lanes of US 2 are closed at South 88th Street. East and westbound traffic was being redirected to exit the highway in that area. Drivers were asked to take alternate routes in the meantime and expect delays. Backups were at about two miles, according to WSP. The road reopened at around 9:15 a.m.
