A more stable future in 21 days: Host homes sought for homeless youth

Snohomish County’s Cocoon House is hoping the community will open its hearts and its doors.

EVERETT, Wash. — Jeanne Crisp has always prided herself on making her house a home for all who enter.

That home now extends to the young people residing behind her guest room door.

“For me, it just seemed like something we could do to make a difference,” Crisp said. “A little thing to help with a big problem.” 

With their own kids grown, Crisp and her husband Tom are bringing homeless children into their Everett house.
