KENT, Wash. — All lanes of Interstate 5 were briefly blocked Friday morning after a collision involving a semi-truck in Kent.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) first reported the collision at 8 a.m. near 272nd Street. The roadway was fully blocked for roughly an hour while crews worked to clear the roadway, and WSDOT announced the left lane and HOV lane were open just after 9:20 a.m. Friday. Just after 9:30 a.m., WSDOT said only the right lane remained closed.
