Amazon announced on Feb. 27 a contribution of $100 million to accelerate construction of the 234-unit complex, expected to be completed in late 2026.
BELLEVUE, Wash. — Surrounded by several recently completed development projects in Bellevue, the city’s mayor was joined by other officials to break ground on a new affordable housing community near the Spring District light rail station.
The two mid-rise buildings will include 234 apartments for residents whose income is below 60 percent of the area median income. Within the complex, 40 units will be reserved for people with developmental disabilities.
