15-year-old charged in Seattle hit-and-run that left 3 victims with broken bones

SEATTLE — A 15-year-old boy has been charged after he injured 3 people in a hit-and-run in Seattle’s University District, prosecutors say.

The teen faces three counts of vehicular assault, felony hit-and-run, assault in the second degree, possession of a stolen vehicle and reckless driving. KING 5 does not typically name defendants who are under the age of 18.

Charging documents say the vehicle in the hit-and-runs, a white Kia Soul, was stolen from a Seattle couple’s home around 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 21. Surveillance video from the home showed two suspects steal the vehicle.
