Coeur d’Alene City Prosecutor dismisses battery citation against woman dragged from legislative town hall

Police say the woman was cited for allegedly biting a member of private security. The security firm also had its business license revoked by the city.

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is investigating the incident at the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC) legislative town hall where a woman was dragged out of the meeting. 

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, KCRCC organized and held a town hall meeting, which was open to the public, at Coeur d’Alene High School. During the meeting, opinions were expressed, both for and against the various topics of discussion.
