Two suspects attempted to flee on foot but were quickly apprehended. The remaining two complied with officers and were taken into custody.
SPANAWAY, Wash. — Four Pierce County deputies were hospitalized following an attempted carjacking and subsequent chase through Spanaway on Saturday morning.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department said four adult suspects attempted to steal a car at gunpoint near 167th Street and Pacific Avenue at approximately 10:30 a.m. The carjacking was unsuccessful, and the suspects fled the scene in a black sedan, which had previously been reported stolen.
