It’s one of the most brazenly stupid things a sports franchise has done in a long time. On Friday the Mavericks unveiled a new hype song titled “We Mavericks,” and it doesn’t take long before things get very, very weird.
Evidently the Mavericks couldn’t find enough clips of the team that didn’t involve Luka, so they had a choice to do one of three things:
Focus exclusively on clips of other players Just leave him in, because even though it hurts — Doncic is still a part of the team’s history Black him out like he’s in witness protection and slap a Mavs logo over his head.
