The Thurston County sheriff says a drunk driver got in crashes almost exactly 24 hours apart.
OLYMPIA, Wash. — Thurston County deputies said they arrested the same man on driving under the influence charges on consecutive nights.
”Same time, same place, same car, same suspect, the same two deputies,” said Thurston County Sheriff Derek Sanders. “Total deja vu. And I’m like, ‘What are the odds?’”
James McCurry pleaded not guilty to separate driving under the influence charges in court Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to Sanders, McCurry crashed into a car parked on 58th Avenue Southeast in Olympia on Sunday night.
